Ovations for the Cure and A Weekly Affair presents: CHIC Cure Her in Couture with Daniela Corte

Ovations for the Cure and online lifestyle magazine A Weekly Affair have joined forces to produce a series of fashionable events called CHIC - Cure Her in Couture. The goal of the events is to help raise funds and raise awareness for ovarian cancer research while entertaining guests at a chic setting with a fashion show. The chic setting in this instance was at the Woodward inside the newly built, luxury Ames Hotel. The first designer to take part in the CHIC series was local favorite designer Daniela Corte.
The show sold out quickly thanks to the support of our local fashion community. Special VIP guests were seated in a special room with the designer. As the show commenced, models entered the VIP room and Daniela gave a special commentary on each design. For this event, Daniela showcased her current Fall and Winter collection.
Don't worry if you missed the show. There are plans for more in the coming year. Another fashion event that Ovations will be part of (not a CHIC event) is the Sara Campbell Fashion Luncheon. As for Daniela Corte, she is moving to a new, larger location on Newbury St. and is planning a grand opening party.
