It all started with an internship at Betsey Johnson's New York showroom that brought designers Jenn Barron from Chicago and Lauren Antos Kacyvenski of Brookline together. Though they differed in their individual sense of style, the young ladies shared a love of fashion and not long after, Lily & Migs was born.
Lily & Migs is a contemporary women's label. The Lily & Migs woman is young, strong and independent. She keeps an eye on current trends but is not heavily influenced by them when it comes to making fashion decisions.
The Spring 2010 collection shown at the Liberty Hotel is just the second collection for the young company. The look for spring is bright, flirty, sophisticated yet feminine. The dresses and tops are made in silk voile, silk chiffon and silk crepe and are accentuated with ruffles, further enhancing the feminine look and feel.
Providing the sexy footwear for the models is the designers' good friend and co-host of the show Jessica Lynn though her Newbury St. boutique, Leokadia Shoes.
