Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York:
Monique Lhuiller Fall 2010 Collection

Ever since she  launched her ready-to-wear line in 2003, you couldn't find a red carpet somewhere in the world that didn't have at least one star donning a Monique Lhuiller gown.

The Fall 2010 collection has at least five full length, strapless gowns that I would love to see on the red carpet. They were just amazing.

Inspiration for this season came from the Orient. Many dresses (in fact they were all dresses) sported a few Asian design elements such as the mandarin collar and Asian floral prints. The favorite colors of Chinese royalty, red, purple and yellow gold are seen though out the collection.

Some on my favorite dresses made minimal use of those elements resulting in a chic and glamorous look without ever resembling costumes. The evening gowns are really the stars of the show and I can't wait to find out who'll be wearing Monique Lhuiller on the next major red carpet.
