Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York:
Tory Burch Fall 2010 Collection

The story of Tory Burch should be the blueprint of how a young, unknown designer can be become a major label in just over five years. In a landscape filled with talented designers, Tory Burch has crafted a unique and recognizable identity that led to a solid and very loyal customer base. It also never hurts to have Oprah say positive things about your young label on her show.

Right away, people caught on with Tory's chic, fun and eclectic sense of style. For the Fall of 2010, Tory put out a lot of fun selections that her customers are sure to love. Seeing the presentation reminds one of shopping at a luxury open market where you've already picked out your basics and now you're looking for that special, offbeat luxury find that only you must have and won't let anyone else have.

The Tory Burch luxury label is an amazing success story that just keeps getting better. Even with the current condition of the economy, Tory Burch plans to expand and grow. With only 23 stores in the US and just a handful overseas, there are plans to have another 100 stores open worldwide within 5 years. With a recent opening in Japan, a store in London and Rome is not far behind.

The clothing label itself is growing and expanding into a lifestyle brand. The Tory Burch label already includes shoes, bags, jewelry and accessories such as the new eyewear line. It won't be too long until we see a Tory Burch perfume and a line of cosmetics.
